GRANT I TRAINING - CONSUMERS IN THE HEART OF AGRICULTURAL POLICY

GRANT I TRAINING - POTROŠAČI U SRCU POLJOPRIVREDNE POLITIKE

Project "Go Organic: Consumers at the Heart of Agricultural Policy" is aimed at supporting the creation of an environment for organic production in North Macedonia that is in line with consumer interests.

The aim of the project is to empower civil society to develop fact- andEU models-based recommendations for improving the political and legislative framework in the field of organic production as part of sustainable agriculture. The project represents the interests of consumers in the process of formulation and implementation of agricultural policies, and in this connection, it strengthens cooperation between civil society organizations, state institutions, farmers and the media in order to develop organic production and consumption. Additionally, the project contributes to increasing consumer awareness of health, social and environmental benefits from organic products.

The project is funded by the European Union within the regional project "Sustainable agriculture for sustainable Balkans: Strengthening advocacy capacities of CSOs and developing policies in the Western Balkans" implemented by the regional consortium of CSOs: IEP (Albania), FLOROZON (The Republic of North Macedonia), AKTIV (Kosovo *), CZIP (Montenegro), led by ORCA (Serbia).
