HEALTHY FOOD DEPENDS ON PRESERVED NATURE IN AGRICULTURAL LANDSCAPES
From 17-19 September 2019 in Belgrade, second meeting of the regional working platform has been held with an aim to coordinate development of the regional report on the state and perspectives of the biodiversity conservation in agricultural landscapes of the Western Balkans.
Experts from Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania and Germany, representatives of the Ministries of agriculture and environmental protection from the region and civil society organisations from the partner countries participated in the meeting. The work of the Regional Working Platform, beside European Union is supported by the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (Bundesamt für Naturschutz).
The project “Sustainable agriculture for sustainable Balkans” is funded by the European Union and it’s aim is to strengthen capacities of civil society organisations (CSOs) for advocacy and developing policies in the Western Balkans using research, training and networking
